A quick note... Some readers think I've been deleting their notes in the "comments" section. I've only done that twice ever, I think. My blog will only post a certain number of comments at any one time, then it rolls over to a new page of comments. You have to find the very small, faint caret (looks like this: >) at the bottom of the first page of comments. Click on that, and it'll move you to the next page of comments. There have been some GREAT comments on this blog -- my apologies if you posted and thought I'd edited or deleted your note. I didn't! Promise!
No! Really? I assumed you were giving comments up for Lent.

Nope. I gave up a bunch of social media stuff for Lent (Facebook, etc), as well as staying away from some web stuff that I enjoy. I also am focusing on adding some things in my life during this season. The purpose is to use the time to grow and change. The Lenten season has deep roots in the history of the church.

As we celebrate Lent, my prayer for you and everyone else is that we all will know and understand God's absolute love and will find the life Christ came to give us. The power of God's love is greater than all the evil in this world--I'm looking forward to the day when we all realize this reality.
